Great work today! Please breifly describe what these values will look like for us in this class. Sara gave us her example for respect. Also indicate if you are going to be able to follow these values in our class. If not tell us why.
Team work
Respect
perserverance
trust
Positivity
All of these values will bring our class a lot closer, and we will be able to accomplish anything if we follow all the values. I think I will be able to handle these values perfectly fine, but I might need to work on trust, and possibly perserverance.

Personally, teamwork means being a group that is able to work through anything as one. Respect means showing a positive attitude towards all classmates. Perseverance is know that when "the going gets tough, the tough get going." Trust means having faith in fellow peers. Positivity is being optimistic about any given situation. I will definitely try to follow to all these values. However, I think that trust might be a difficult one for me because it is hard to trust people whom I have just met.

Team work is working together successfully as a class and being supportive of one another. Respect is accepting everyone for who they are and treating classmates kindly. Perserverance is making it through an activity without giving up. Trust is believing in each other. Positivity is keeping a good optimistic attitude during activities. I am going to try to follow all these rules because I think it's the best way to help our class be successful as a whole.

teamwork means able to accomplish a task successfully. Respect is treating the people around you the way you want to be treated. Perseverance is never giving up even during the most difficult tasks. Trust is being able to believe each other and positivity is never being pessimistic and always positive about the task. I will definitely be able to follow all these rules because we came up with them as a class and it's the best way to be successful.

Team work means working together to get a certain activity done. Respect means accepting everyone for who they are as a person. Perseverance means never giving up and sticking with the goal in mind when first starting the activity. Trust means believing in each other that we will keep certain things confidential. Positivity means keeping an optimistic attitude throughout an activity. Yes I am going to follow these because I think it's the best way to benefit our class and myself as well.
ReplyDeleteDylan Hanson
Team work is being able to communicate and brainstorm well as a group. Respect is allowing a person to feel comfortable to do something or be stupid. Perseverance is being patient with another and working hard to achieve a goal. Positivity is being able to be optimistic towards another. Yes, i'll be able to do all these rules to have a fun and comfortable environment.
ReplyDeleteMatt Kim
Team work means accomplishing goals together through effective communication and inclusion of all. Respect is treating those around you as equals. Perseverance requires us to work through difficult tasks that may not be enjoyable in order to serve the greater good of the class. Positivity means having an open mind in activities that may be new or uncomfortable. Trust means just what it says: Having faith that our class mates will catch us, literally or figuratively. I believe these values are all perfectly reasonable to follow.
ReplyDelete-Elizabeth Davies
I believe teamwork looks like a group where everyone is happy with what their doing for the team. Respect looks like a solemn distancing or immediate when someone wants it. Perseverance looks like that one last push that uses all the last bits of your energy to even try to accomplish something. POsitivity is when that one last push doesn't make it, but you keep your head up high, or staying positive. I will do my best to follow these goals, but I can only do so much in that teamwork requires a team.

ReplyDeleteTeam work means working together and being able to correctly communicate and not trying to be independent and working with the group. Respect is treating everyone as your equal, no matter what. Perseverance is basically not giving up until the task is completed. Positivity means being optimistic towards the goal and never doubting the group nor oneself. Trust means being able to put your life into one of your group members hands, a task that is hard for most people. These values are reasonable, but impossible. No one will respect each other, and the chances of someone being willing to put their life into someone they very well may hate is slim to none. Realistically, perseverance and positivity are the only real goals. Everything else is just to give us the idea that we are "working together." Sort of like a psudo-belief. I will try, but I'm not gonna promise something so easily broken.
ReplyDeleteSteve Arimura
team works mean having a group of people work together in order to complete a common goal. Respect is when two people understand eachother and care about how they feel. Perseverance is being able to work harder then you usually could to complete someting. positivty is thinking about the good things in a situation. Trust is being able to put your lifeinto someone elses hands.

Teamwork means everyone works together to acheive a common goal. Respect means to listen and obey what authority figures tell you to do. perserverance means to never give up even if theres a fire. Trust is someone who will never betray you even if there is a fire. positivity means to always look on the bright side even if there is a fire.
ReplyDeleteVlad Gheorghiu
Teamwork is when everyone in the class works as a group/team and lets everyone be heard. Respect is when you "treat someone as the way you want to be treated." Perseverance is when you work hard to acheive something even though you want to give up. You work towards your goal even though it may seem impossible at the time. Trust is when you put your faith into someone else's hands. Positivity is when you look at the bright side of things even when it is hard to see. I believe all of these values are important to follow so we can acheive our goals as a group. I will be able to follow these values.
ReplyDeleteAshley Kozanda
For me, these values represent what it will take to work as a cohesive unit and ultimately reach success in our climbing and other activities.I will follow these the best I can
ReplyDeleteSusmit S.
teamwork will show how the class can accept eachother for who everyone is and how they can put anything aside and help people to help get something accomplished. Respect would be not judging people for something they can or cant do in our class. Perserverance would be knoing youd do anything to get something done and that theyre are many ways to do different things. Trust would be putting your fate in someone elses hands and being okay with it because you have bonded with people in the class beforehand. And positivity would be us coming to class and feeling like we can accomplish anything together and not have a doubt in ourselves or classmates.

Obviously there are a whole bunch of values and definitely many perspectives in our class. And a number of them can be grouped together in similar categories because they carry the same meanings. For many of us, including me, these values come naturally and are kind of just mandatory off our own terms. For me, respect comes easiest because it's been taught at my house and at school over and over, so much that it is ingrained into my very style of living. Team work, trust, and positivity are for the most part a go-go win-win. I dunno I just can't NOT be happy dappy sometimes. At least in this class that won't be the problem. Perseverance is mostly what I need to work on. I've noticed that a few times I have gotten fed up with certain activities like the one in class today. There was no communication because no one was fully explaining things to the class, and it just dragged on and on. Maybe if I give it some more effort I will be able to have more confidence in our class and help more.

Teamwork is working together as one to complete something. Respect is not gettin up in everyone's grill all the time, treat them civilly and pretty much just respect them as a person. perseverance is pushing through something, not giving up even though it may be tough. trust is having faith in one another, knowing that that other person has your back. Positivity is not being a debby downer which can really be annoying. I think Ill be able to follow all these. I agree with positivity to an extent, Im not saying Im gonna go sit in a corner and cry but when you're not feeling it you're just not feeling it. we all have those days.so I think we need to be respectful of that.
ReplyDelete-Kelsey
All of these values will bring the class closer together. Team work, trust and respect will be the main things that make or break the class. We will have to trust and respect eachother to work together. Positivity and perseverance will tie the foundation of the class closer together. I will be able to follow all these values even when im not feeling the most positive person in the world I will atleast act like it.
ReplyDelete~Alyssa Godek
Team work, respect, perserverance, trust, and positivity all tie together and all will be needed for our class to be successful. Team work is dependent on everyone's cooperation in reaching our team goal. Respect and positivity are needed to carry out the team work. Perserverance is more dependent on ourselves, and our own motivation to do something, and trust will be built up as we learn to work better as a team. All these are connected in a way, and I feel that I will be able to follow these values in class and I feel like I am a person that can be trusted and dependent on.
ReplyDeleteKaren Li
Team work is the only way we can get things done when we're in such a big group. Respect is accepting everyone as who they are without judgement.positivity is the best way to accomplish things because you won't feel like you wanna give up, and it seems more bearable. Perserverance is never giving up when things get hard, you just keep trucking through it. Trust is most important and we all should be able to keep things confidential between us and have faith in one another because your life is in their hands. I will try my hardest to always follow these values.
ReplyDeleteAbby Tski
I really think these values will help the class if everyone is able to try to follow them. It might be hard for some people to ajust or follow them at first, but I think by the end of the year if we have all succeded in the values, especially teamwork and trust, we'll do great at devils lake! Also, if people use these values in their everyday lives- and not just in class it will help them be a better person!
ReplyDelete-Natalie Sobon
I think these traits would be shown in our class by everyone cooperating and working with each other in order to accomplish each task we take on. We will work through any challenges we face in order to achieve out goals and be successful!
ReplyDelete-Assunta De Pau
All of these ideas combined will make our class run smoothly and make our time together enjoyable. Teamwork is key in completing some of the many challenges we will face in this class. Positivity is also something that will help us to stay motivated with each task we take on. Perseverance will help us to finish tasks no matter how hard they are. And last but not least we would not be able to get anything done without respect and trust. Respect is key to getting along and feeling comfortable with everyone. Trust is very important especially at times when you need to count on your partner for safety purposes.
ReplyDelete-Selby Rose
All of these things, if they can be achieved, will help make our class run smoothly. I think that they can be achieved, but it will be difficult. Teamwork will be the hardest I think. It is very difficult to get a big group of people to work together. Positivity is like optimism. You have to look on the bright side of things and believe that anything is possible if you try, and keep trying. That is where Perseverance comes into play. Keep trying and never give up! Respect and trust are necessary to get through the challenges in this class, including the other values. It will be a challenge in itself, to continuously practice these ideas, but with our class, we can do it!
ReplyDelete~Kim Wagner
I think that each one of these will make us more closer and friendlier as a class. Trying to get these right during activities will put us through a struggle and that struggle will bring us closer.
