How do you think we did? Did we accomplish what we needed to accomplish? What was a challenge during this activity? What did you like about this activity and what would you like changed?
I think we did awesome!! We got the job done safe, and accomplished exactly what we needed to. The only challenge was figuring out the whole symmetry thing. This was an ok activity. It wasn't my favorite, but it was a good teamwork exercise.
I really liked this activity even though there was a lot of stress involved. But I feel that because there were specific time limits, it forced everyone to work together instead of having people slacking off. It tested our abilities to cope with each other and not get all freakish and argue (which we didn't do) so i don't think there's really anything that could change about this activity. Once I had my job, I felt less stressed because I pretty much knew what I needed to do and I felt like for our group it was smooth sailing when everyone else knew their jobs too.
To be honest I didn't really understand this activity. I mean it was purposeful but in the beginning I didn't understand what was going on at all so I just did what others told me to do and that's about it. Dylan Hanson
I think we did pretty good as a whole group because I know that my group was pretty much freaking out at the end because no one had a clue what was going on and we were under a lot of pressure with the time. I think we accomplished it pretty well because it was only the small details that weren't similar but the overall bridge its self was uniform. It was challenging to get the bridge started but once we got part of it, the rest just came to us. I like that this activity made us think in order to create a bridge that would be easy to make and safe so our classmate could make it over. I would probably change how many items we had because there were too many to remember and use.
I think that we accomplished what was asked of us to the best of our abilities. The thing I liked about this activity was that the time limits forced us to focus on the task right from the start. I don't really understand what we did this activity for, but I am proud that we worked together and got it finished. i think the most challenging part was defining symmetry..... and trying to use all the objects. there was just too many!!!!! it was kinda overwhelming. I think what made this activity feel off for me was that we were separated into two groups. I don't know why, or if that is the real reason why I didn't like this activity. ~Kim W.
I think with the requirements that we were given, we accomplished the acctivity. During this activity it was challenging because we had limited communication with the other group, so trying to get the bridge symmetrical was a challenge. Also, it was hard because any questions we had could not be answered until the two people met to talk. I think overall the activity was challenging, yet fun and I am proud that our class was able to accomplish it in one day, whereas we normally take multiple days to accomplish something. -Assunta De Pau
i thought we did great! yea we acomplished what we needed to acomplishe and in was fun and we were all working together:) a challange would be that we had alot of objects and they had to be in a certan order. i like almost everything about this activity but i tought we could have gotton alot more time discussing with the other group and alot more people involved in what was happening but i love how we all worked together at some point to make the human bridge possible:). joann andrade evia
I thought we accomplished the human bridge the best of our ability because it was hard to communicate to the other group. It was hard because different people had to go to the hall each time. But I think we did a good job paying attention to the little details -Natalie Sobon
I think we did very well in communicating to the other group in this activity, even though it was kind of challenging. It was also challenging to figure out how to use all the objects and still keep the bridge symmetrical, but I think our class was able to accomplish the task pretty well.
I think we did a good job accomplishing this activity. We all listened to each other's ideas and cooperated with each other. I thought it was challenging when we didn't know what the other half of our class was doing. It was hard to understand what they were doing and how we were going to match them. Overall, I think we did a really good job listening to each other and therefore we were able to accomplish the task. Ashley Kozanda
i think overall we did really well during this activity!! the time limits were really stressful but it showed us how we can come together and get things done in any environment. however, i didn't like the activity in itself because...i don't know i feel like there's better ones out there. This one started off really chaotic and not many people understood what we needed to do, and i feel like the other team (abc) came up with most of the ideas and somewhat took over the activity because then our team was forced to follow exactly what they did instead of both teams compromising and doing it together. not saying that their ideas weren't good because they were great and worked awesome! but it would've been nice for them to follow us instead of us trying to run around like chickens with our heads cut off to be exactly like them.
I think that our group cooperated really well during this challenge. I think that at first everyone was a little bit puzzled to how this was going to work, but once we all put our minds together the activity seemed to become easier. It was cool how we could collaborate at group meetings with the other team and see that they had similar ideas as us. It was interesting to see it all work out in the end. I would not change anything the challenges made the activity interesting and fun. Selby Rose
I think the activity was interesting but half the time i didnt know what was going on.its very hard to accomplish but our group pulled together in the end. nicole bishop
I think we did a great job accomplishing the human bridge. we commmunicated really well with the other half of the bridge and seemed symetrical from the order of things use to just being even across.
