This assignment is really cool! It gets you to step back and look at your life from an outside perspective and that just really gives youinsight on your life. I think this assignment is really unique and i love how our classmates can feel that they can be open with us even if theyre anonymous or not. I feel like this assignment has made our class take a step back and see that everyone has different stories that you may not expect and when you realize that, it makes you look at the class differently and respect everyone in it. I dont really feel like a change needs to be made to the activity because it seems to be working the way it is set up right now. -Zoe Kempton

this assignment has made me realize just how much people have to share about themselves. they're able to express their true feelings about their life and trust us enough to tell us. this is a different, unique assignment which i think is pretty cool. i always look forward to listening to peoples' "if you really knew me"s because it gives me a different insight. i like the way things are set up now, i really don't have any suggestions for change because i think it's working out the way it is right now. i'm really happy we got the chance to do this assignment.
I feel like this assignment really helps people open up and give a chance to share thing about themselvess. It gives you a good sense of the people who you are friends with and that not everything is as it seems on the surface. I think it has been a great experience to hear others stories. It heps them and it helps other people in class if they can relate. It helps to know you are not alone. I think this assignment really helps all of us in the class. For me, it has shown me that even though all of us appear to be fine, there are alot of people struggling through tough times, and I'm really glad that people are willing to open up and share these. It shows how we don't really know someone until we've seen them outside of school, and I think this assignment has given us another chance to be able to trust each other more in our class.
This assignment is a great way for students to vent their everyday feelings to the class. I think this assisgnment has been helpful for everyone. This is something that I haven't done in any of my other classes and it's a nice change of pace. I haven't had mine read out loud yet but I'm sure once it is, it'll be really awkward. It's one thing to write down this stuff and mean it but another to have it read out loud. It's not a bad thing, but it just feels weird for other people to hear your innermost personal thoughts. A few times I've regretted putting my name at the end of assignment for everyone to know who wrote it because of how awkward it might be afterward but now I'm kind of looking forward to it and I really want everyone to know a little bit more of me and what's goin on in my life. I honestly don't think that this assignment needs to be changed in any way--the same level of understanding and awkwardness will always remain and you know there's no way to get around it. I'm really glad I got to hear a bunch of people's "If You Really Knew Me"'s and I wish I could have been in class on Friday to hear the rest of them :)

We're all very good at putting up these facades, but the reality is that everyone has things about them that aren't immediately apparent. This is such a cool assignment. It's really meade me think about my life when I hear what other people have gone through. This has also really taught me about the phrase "dont judge a book by its cover". Some things that people shared I would've never in a milliion years have thought that would've happened to them. I wish I would've gotten deeper in my paper. I think its working well how we are doing the assigment I think it would be better if people commented more on the person's story, but you cant exactly control that.
Doing this assignment was a great stress relief to me. I really enjoy the fact that everyone took it seriously. Listening to all of these, I think I have a better understanding of the class as a whole, since each paper has a new life to share. After hearing a few papers, I realy want to re-do mine and just write what I think everyone should know, and then not be a coward and put my name on the entire piece. I enjoy how we are doing these (minus the side conversations and extended talks about nothing), and hope to here more about the peopole whom i will be entrusting my life to.
I think this assignment is absolutely amazing because it allows everyone to get to know each other on a deeper level, not just the surface level. It allows us to trust each other on a deeper level too, which is really important. I think that what can help us all more is to put our names at the end of each paper, because although everyone's sharing, it doesn't help as much if we don't know who that person is. This is something that I haven't done in any of my other classes and it's a nice change of pace. I haven't had mine read out loud yet but I'm sure once it is, it'll be really awkward.
