  1. I think the first time we made it over the electric fence was easier then the second time becuase we didnt have to worrie about hitting the mats that were put up under the rope. Also the rope was higher on one end and we had to get 6 people over that end.My role for the first time was helping lifting people over the rope and then i had to jump the rope last.my role for the second time was lift the last 6 people over the rope then i had to jump over.I thought it was a fun activity and i wouldnt mind doing it again.

  2. The two recent fence activities went pretty smoothly and were similar in the way we accomplished the activity. In both, we worked as a class and all paid attention to what we were doing. We also were all very encouraging which helped a lot. I thought these two activities demonstrated how our class has the ability to work as a team and accomplish something that might seem really difficult at first. We all accomplished both activities in an orderly fashion and all came together to get over the rope. I was not much of a leader during this activity but I did encourage others and I offered help when needed. I thought this activity was pretty fun and interesting.

  3. I Liked the second rope challenge more because it gave you options where as in the first one there wasn't much you could do with it. my role in both was being a small person. which meant I was to be lifted over the highest part of the rope. I didn't mind, I guess its what I get for being short. but in all honesty it was fun.

  4. I personally thought the two rope activities were pretty fun. They provided a challenge that we were able to defeat both times. Although, in all honestly, the most recent one (the one with the mats) I thought was gonna take us 3 days again to complete but we ended up doing it in a matter of minutes. My role in both wasn't a big one I was just lifted over the rope. All in all the two rope activities were pretty fun.

  5. I think the second activity was much easier for our class after going through the first activity. We all knew that we had to focus on our task and to encourage one another throughout the whole thing. Also, the second activity gave us more choices. Instead of having everyone go over the same height, we were able to choose which height we wanted to go over. I think this activity helped a lot of people to step out of their comfort zones.

  6. I think that the second time we did it it seemed more successful because people knew what we had to do and how to get it done more efficiently. Although we did change the method from the other day that we did it, I think it worked better and it pushed people to go more out of their comfort zones than ususal.

  7. I wasnt there the first day we did it but it seemed that everyone was focusing on what we were doing and were a lot more confident because they had done it once before. I also think the way we cheered for everyone was good for peoples confidence.

  8. I think that the second time we got over, it went much faster and smoother, because we already knew how to handle it because of the first time we got over. I thought that the people who helped me and everyone else over the rope did it safely and successfully. I trusted them a lot, my only fear was how high I had to jump, but it all ended up ok.

  9. I feel like the second one went over better just because we didn't have to keep repeating it over and over again. The first one gave us motivation to do better on the second time because it made us try harder to get over the rope without anyone touching it. Also, get over on our first try, which was pretty remarkable considering it took us like 7 times to get the first once done. All in all, I found both of the activities really fun and I enjoyed doing them.

  10. I think we accomplished the task more efficiently the second time because we all knew what we had to do and since we'd done it before we could come up with a strategy faster. I think since we could all trust each other and were encouraging people to go over it went very smoothly. I thought both activities were fun and we worked together well as a class.

  11. I think that we were able to succeed in the second task faster than the first task because we used our experience from the first one during the latter. I, personally, just tried to help and encourage people to go over. I think that I was less nervous doing the second activity because I already knew how it was going to play out. Also, I feel like most people felt the same way. Thus, the we achieved out goal more efficiently.

  12. I think both fence activities equally pushed the class in everyones comfort zone. Eventhough we knew what we needed to do the second time, the switched method really pushed some people out of their comfort zone and really worked on trust. I think both of these activates had an effect on our class dynamic; people may trust eachother a tad bit more, we know how to work together as a class and it is clearer what positions people take-in the class ( leaders or followers) and maybe this clearer division could help guid people to what is more outside of their comfort zone

  13. I think both activities were fun but the second one was easier and finished faster than the first. The second one was completed faster because everyone knew their part in the activity and we already had a method that worked. I personally helped by giving everyone encouragment.

  14. i think the second rope activity went a lot smoother because we took the experience and knowledge that we had from the first one, and applied it to the second one. Getting people over the 6ft part was harder, but since the rope had different heights it gave people a choice (to an extent) when they could go and be comfortable. I personally helped by encouraging people and making sure they didn't fall back towards the end.

  15. I think it was a really interesting dynamic in figuring out how to solve the problems. What I generally saw were a few people take charge and push forward ideas, and other were willing to follow.

  16. I think the second rope activity was less challenging and easier than the first rope activity because it was familiar to the class. Therefore, people already knew what worked and didn't and helped people come up with a method to help everybody cross the rope. As for my part, I just went over the rope when it came to be my turn.

  17. I think the two activities were a good challenge for our class because it taught us that if we didn't work together and voice our opinions we weren't going to complete the challenge. The first time was more of a trial to find out the best way that worked for us to get over the rope. The second time we applied what worked for us and we even tweaked it a little to help us get over the higher areas of the rope. Also I think the second time was better because it gave people the option of which height the were comfortable with for going over the rope.

  18. i thought that the second time we did it was better because most of us new what was expected from us unlike the first time we did it with the electric fence. the way they got us over the first time was a little hard becasue we could have injured our selfs and the second time it was good. i liked it alot especially the secong time! i got to go over the firsr high rope!

  19. When we redid the the rope activity I felt more on task and focused than the very first time we did it. It wasn't just me--the whole class was more aware that we didn't necessarily do so great the first time around (well most of us anyway) and tried to compensate for that. I like being apart of the activities we do more than watching from the sidelines and being bored.

  20. I think both activities went fairly smoothly considering we were able to accomplish our goal in both. However, I would definitely agree that the second one went faster. Although it was intended to be more difficult than the first activity, we were able to accomplish it faster and without incident. I particularly appreciated not being dropped on my head.

  21. I think the difficulty went up for the second one, but we were able to compensate for this fact. The added height and limit made the second activity much more challenging and engaging, but also a lot more fun. We learned after our failures what not to do, and applied this new knowledge to the activity. It worked out great in my opinion. I didn't do much the first time through, but the second one I tried to come up with idea that we could use. I also helped people over, and in what I think an annoying way, encouraged them to jump. Overall, success. We built as a class, and now things won't look so difficult.
